Questions about KI-Denkraum
How can leaders, AI teams and AI champions make more informed decisions about AI?
You are expected to advance the use of AI, enable others and provide direction, while daily business often leaves little time to build your own experience. Selected podcast conversations give you insights into how generative AI is changing knowledge work and business models in other companies.
Curated insights, concrete use cases and recurring patterns help you relate these experiences to your own questions. The monthly selection and audio format support continuous learning alongside occasional training.
This gives you a clearer view of your options: you can weigh different courses of action and make more informed decisions about how you organise work, allocate resources and develop your business model.
When should I use the monthly thinking rooms and when the collections?
The monthly AI thinking rooms are well suited if you want to stay current and know what is being discussed at the forefront of AI technology this month. Each monthly edition presents one month’s curated podcast conversations in chronological order, with their insights and the month’s ten patterns.
The collections are the right choice if you want to understand how AI changes companies, leadership and work over time. They curate the podcast conversations on transformation, leadership and use cases not just for one month but since May 2024, in chronological order and continuously extended.
What current insights can I gain beyond my own company?
You hear directly from people in other companies about what they are currently trying with AI, the decisions they are making and what they are learning. Newly curated conversations each month give you current perspectives from different industries, companies and leadership roles.
This opens up a scattered wealth of knowledge that would otherwise often require personal networks, conferences or business travel to access. The growing collection of monthly editions also lets you trace how applications, experiences and assessments change over time.
What quality can I expect from the selected podcast conversations?
The aim is to help you understand AI adoption through others’ experience and make more informed decisions in your area of responsibility. Six principles guide the selection:
- You learn from people with direct responsibility: Priority goes to conversations with people who are introducing AI in their own organisations and are directly accountable for the decisions involved, for example in digital transformation, finance, HR or an AI team. For leadership topics, research based on original data and many years of leadership experience are equally valuable. General accounts by consultants about their clients and product presentations by vendors carry less weight.
- You understand the implications for people and organisations: The focus is on how AI changes work, roles, responsibility and collaboration. This includes equipping employees with the necessary skills, leadership responsibilities, rules, and the foundations needed in data and processes. Pure tool comparisons, feature announcements and technical tutorials do not belong in the collections, nor do leadership conversations in which AI plays only a minor role.
- You find practical starting points for your organisation: The conversations should make it clear how others approach adoption: Which employees are involved, how large is the team responsible, and which implementation steps and rules have proved effective? These details help you assess what you can apply to your own situation. General calls for action and visions of the future without concrete evidence are not enough.
- You also learn what proved difficult: Preference goes to conversations that openly discuss what was missing, where resistance arose and which approaches failed. This helps you take a more realistic view of the effort, limitations and potential obstacles involved in your own initiatives.
- You hear the reasoning and considerations behind decisions: The selection focuses on extended conversations, usually lasting between 30 and 75 minutes and typically featuring one guest. This leaves room to understand decisions, the wider context and nuances. Longer episodes are considered when the substance warrants it; news roundups, short formats and promotional programmes are excluded.
- You can relate the experiences to your own business context: Priority goes to conversations in German and companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, so that the business environment and corporate culture discussed are relevant to your own situation. Episodes in English supplement the selection when companies are setting benchmarks or their experiences are relevant across national borders.
Is the content relevant to my role and responsibilities?
You benefit particularly if you are responsible for a business area, coordinate AI adoption or help others use the technology. You will find ideas for strategic questions as well as leadership, collaboration and practical applications. Your own task is always the starting point: what do you want to understand, change or decide?
Do other leaders use podcasts as part of their professional development?
Yes. In her conversation on AI FIRST, Frauke von Polier describes how she uses podcasts to maintain and develop her own AI skills. Her example shows how conversations offering different perspectives can become a regular space for personal reflection.

How can I fit the content into my daily routine?
Checking in once a month is a good starting point:
- Get an overview: Look through the five recommended episodes in the current monthly edition and read the ten overarching patterns. Which developments affect your area of responsibility or an upcoming decision?
- Explore your own topics: Use the ten recommended episodes in each collection on transformation, leadership and use cases. This lets you explore how business models and leadership are changing, or which applications other companies are already trying.
- Read and listen selectively: Read the insights from relevant episodes, save interesting conversations and listen to those that matter most to you. You do not need to listen to everything; focus on your current questions.
You can find the recommendations in each catalogue using “Recommended by Lennart Gehl”. Listen during your commute, while shopping or on a walk: podcasts make it possible to learn without setting aside another slot in your calendar each time.
How can I explore the insights further with my own AI assistant?
Download one or more monthly editions or collections and give them to your AI assistant along with your role and a specific question. You can ask for relevant listening recommendations, compare use cases or explore developments across several months. Ask it to identify the relevant episodes so that you can check important statements in the original conversations.
In the trial you download the patterns as a text file; the Markdown files come with the subscription.
How can I bring these insights into my team and my company?
Choose conversations or use cases that relate to a current challenge your team faces. Use them as the basis for a discussion, an internal listening recommendation or a decision paper; you may include individual excerpts, citing the KI-Denkraum as the source. Three questions help you apply what you have learned: what are others doing? What would we need to put in place? What would we like to try ourselves?
Across the company, the monthly editions and collections complement internal learning hubs and on-demand learning. As context and a source of knowledge, they show employees and internal AI assistants what is happening in AI right now. If you regularly share the content with colleagues who have no seat, for example through a newsletter, a learning hub or a shared AI assistant, you need the in-house licence.

How can I use the content for my clients and audiences?
A private label licence from lennartgehl.com GmbH lets you use the curated content under your own brand within the agreed scope. For example, you can create newsletters, LinkedIn posts or white papers for your clients and audiences. The licence specifies which content and uses are covered; rights to the original podcasts remain unaffected.
How much is a subscription, and what does the in-house licence cost?
The first 14 days are free and need no payment details. After that, a subscription costs €39 per user and month with monthly billing, or €390 per user and year with yearly billing, which is €32.50 a month. All prices are plus VAT; the offer is for businesses.
In a team, everyone reads with their own seat and you pay through one shared subscription. For sharing within your company with people who have no seat, for example through a newsletter, a learning hub or a shared AI assistant, there is the in-house licence. Per person and month it costs €1.00 for each of the first 1,000 people, €0.75 for each further one up to 5,000 and €0.50 for each one beyond, billed yearly for a twelve-month term, and it requires at least one seat. You can work out the price for your company on the pricing page.
